Mari Rauvanlahti
Hello! I am Mari Rauvanlahti, an illustrator and comic artist. I have a Master of Arts degree from the University of Art and Design, Department of Industrial Design.
After graduation I worked as a graphic designer in Tampere and Helsinki for a few years. The field of visual arts took me with it and for several years I have been teaching different techniques of art in different educational institutions and workshops.
I use ink painting and other techniques depending on the situation. The language of comics makes it possible to create accessible and interesting stories for clients.

Character Cloud-Head had origin into Hiroshima nuclear bomb. When I was studing at Univeristy we had an task with metamorfis. I took a nuclear bomb figure and turn it into these cloud-looking figures. Idea was to change war into love. This mission of changing feelings this funny character Cloud-Head still has.
