Anni Sairio
Hi, I'm Anni Sairio (she). I'm an illustrator, animation artist and graphic designer from Helsinki. I'm a versatile visual storyteller who chooses the tools that best serve the project in question. I like to use simplified characters and symbolism in my illustrations. I work both by hand and digitally. I also like to combine different techniques.
I'm good at managing large visual entities. I've designed visual worlds for animations and designed and renewed brand identities. In addition to static images, I can make motion graphics, animated illustrations and animations. I studied Visual Communication Design at Bachelor's level and Animation at Master's level in Aalto University.

Other People short animation (images)
Other People is an eight-minute-long documentary cutout animation about observing and being observed and the strangeness of human life. The short film is the artistic part of my master’s thesis. I co-directed the film with Joonatan Turkki. The animation premiered in DocPoint Helsinki documentary film festival in February 2023. The Finnish animation guild awarded the film as the best national short animation in the Animatricks festival in May 2023.
