Hi! I am Jenni Hänninen, an illustrator and a graphic designer from Kuopio. I get enchanted especially by nature, beauty of the animal world and the wonders of the human mind.
I usually work digitally, using traditional methods when necessary (acryls, aquarells, markers, ect).
The best thing about my work is when I manage to add a touch of wonder, understanding and connection to the world through the means of illustration.

Valoa (Light) / My project
In 2025, I set out to create a wall calendar and a collection of greeting cards featuring my own illustrations. The series, Valoa (“Light”), was inspired by a desire to bring moments of joy and brightness to the darker months and to every day of the year. Because I am continually inspired by the beauty of Finnish nature and wildlife, each calendar page features an animal species native to Finland, portrayed in its natural habitat.
