Spring Fete 2024

In early summer 2024, The Finnish Illustrators Association invited its members to meet each other and traditionally celebrate the hard work of the beginning of the year. The dress code was a headdress, which inspired the creators of creative work to surpass themselves in many ways. The sunny day included a bubbly atmosphere, drawing session on the beach cliffs, yoga for hardworking hands guided by Meri Mort, beautiful music performed by Henna Emilia Hietamäki and a prize giving ceremony, where Reka Kiraly’s and Jenna Kunnas’ awesome interpretations of a summer hat were highlighted among the many more imaginative headgear. After this, the Illustrator of the Year 2024 was announced. This year, the recognition award was given to Marika Maijala. The weather was splendid and the party continued until late in the evening with singing and swimming on the cliffs. We thank all the illustrators and party guests, Poliisien Kesäkoti and Catering Ganache for a lovely day.
