APARTY! A creative, communal pop-up mini-festival at Hämeentie 26-28. Featuring artist talks and culinary delights, coffee, wine, jewelry, vintage, making and experiencing art, and music. Creating a communal future: Galleria Kuvitus/The Finnish Illustration Association, Studio Falda, Aida, Cafelito & Maukku. With: Dora Dalila Cheffi, Olya Tsikhanchuk, Anna Sidorova, DJ Lauri Koo and Leandro.

Inspirational Speech 16-17
An inspiring and encouraging conversation, where Olya Tsikhanchuk shares her journey to becoming a Finnish illustrator working with international clients. In addition, art expert Anna Sidorova will give a talk on the employment of immigrants in the creative industries in Finland.
Especially for illustrators who have moved to Finland from elsewhere, or for immigrants planning to enter the illustration field. Everyone else is welcome to listen too!
Language: English. Feel free to ask questions and participate in the discussion in Finnish, Swedish, Belarusian or Russian.

Dora Dalila Cheffi: Live Painting 12-18
The Finnish-Tunisian artist Dora Dalila Cheffi will paint a fresco on the wall of Studio Falda, and you are warmly welcome to come and watch the process.
A participatory artwork 12-21
At the same time, we will create a participatory artwork: a large blank canvas will be placed on Falda’s wall, where guests can, if they wish, leave their own mark. Later, the finished collective piece will be transformed into a tablecloth for Falda’s future events as a memory of this occasion.

Step behind the scenes at AIDA and discover hidden treasures!
For one evening only, our shop and backroom studio will be filled with archive pieces from past collections, as well as unique vintage props from our photo shoots.
You’ll also find a curated selection of titles from AIDA BOOKHOUSE, and in our mini-gallery we’re hosting an exhibition by Veera Kesänen and Rukia Mahamed.
