Olya Tsikhanchuk (born 1987) is passionate about bright caramel colors and fun patterns. Her exhibition reminds us that we can all participate in creating a colorful and bold world – a world we want to live in. The spatial ensemble features works made in different techniques, illustrations and illustrated products.
Olya Tsikhanchuk, who moved to Finland in 2013, creates her brand through social media and Substack. Her clientele includes companies, clothing brands and magazines from all over the world. A large part are children’s clothing brands. Through the exhibition, Tsikhanchuk wants to introduce herself as a Finnish illustrator and tell about her own journey: from an immigrant from Belarus to a representative of the Swedish-speaking minority in Finland.
