Jonna Luostari
Hello,
I’m Jonna Luostari, an illustrator, visual artist, and graphic designer with over 20 years of experience in the media and film industry. This background often leads me to illustrate film props — my recent work can be seen in both Finnish and international films and TV series.
Nature, gardens, culture, and children are themes especially close to my heart, but I find inspiration in almost any subject. I enjoy illustrating texts and stories and am open to a wide range of projects. I’m particularly drawn to illustrating letters and scientific themes, as well as creating painterly images that play with light and shadow.
I work fluently with both traditional and digital illustration techniques. I’m also comfortable creating small animations, as well as working with photography and image editing.
I prefer to create painterly illustrations where the artist’s hand can be seen. For more polished work, I use vector graphics, combining clean, silhouette-like shapes with smooth color gradients.
