Maria Mélart
Hi!
I am Maria Mélart (f.k.a. Paula Mela), an illustrator from Järvenpää, Finland and I have illustrated several Finnish children's books. I like soft and fairytale -like aesthetics, which can especially be seen in my personal work. My book illustration work has nostalgic and expressive style, they're mainly done using traditional techniques. Occasionally I also combine them with digital. At the moment I study ceramics, so my calendar is full.
I mainly create with pencil and colour pencils. I can use Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Lightroom programs.
