Olga Badulina
Hello! I am Olga Badulina, a freelance illustrator and book designer from Espoo.
I love to create delicate, atmospheric art that tells stories and evokes emotions. I am especially inspired by nature, northern landscapes, children and animals - they are my constant source of inspiration. I have a degree in fine arts from a university and my illustrations have been published in over 35 books around the world. I specialise in illustrations for children's books, picture books and book covers.
I particularly enjoy working with my clients. It is always a pleasure to create illustrations based on text and to understand what the client really needs. I work carefully and listen to wishes to ensure that the end result meets expectations.
I have language skills in Finnish, English and Russian. My schedule is flexible, but for larger projects I recommend contacting me well in advance.

I am experienced in illustrating children's books and picture books, as well as creating book covers and fold-outs. I work in watercolour and acrylic gouache, complemented by digital finishing.
I am adept at combining the delicacy of handmade illustrations with the efficiency of digital work.
I can also create fully digital illustrations. Adobe software - Photoshop, Illustrator for over 20 y.
