Pive Toivonen
Hi! I am Pive Toivonen, a visual artist and illustrator from Helsinki. I also work in the Turku region and the archipelago. I create large watercolor paintings as well as small pictures of the beautiful moments of life.
I mainly work in my own style based on my own artistic ideas, but I am also very happy to implement the client's wishes. Most of the time, my clients specifically want pictures and works made in the recognizable Pive style.
I like to create images of nature, the sea and real places. I can simplify and still create a lively atmosphere. I have also done several public works for schools, kindergartens and hospitals.
I want to convey good feelings and happiness through my work.
My working languages are Finnish, Swedish and English. I invoice through my own company. I stick to the agreed schedule and budget.
Watercolor painting and drawing by hand are my strengths. In addition to the illustration, you may order an original painting from me. I teach watercolor courses and give art workshops.
Working together with architects comes naturally to me and my works integrated into buildings have been praised.
