Saara Helkala

I'm Saara, a 44-year-old illustrator and graphic designer based in sunny Lisbon. My color palette is heavily influenced by the city's pastel hues. Before going freelance, I was the Art Director at Demi magazine, so I have a soft spot for young women. I've illustrated (and designed) countless book covers for various publishing houses, as well as a few full book illustrations. I also love creating portraits. Having lived abroad for 10 years, I can work in English very fluently.

I am a skilled user of Adobe Creative Suite and Procreate, capable of creating scalable vector illustrations for various projects. My expertise extends to comprehensive design and layout of publications, brochures, books, and advertisements.
