Sanna Sandcastle
Hi! I´m Sanna from the Sandcastle. I was mesmerized by the Finnish nature, mythology and magical midsummer and started then to complete my drawings with wildflowers. And that enchanting moment is still blooming in my illustrations.
I´ve been drawing since childhood and nowadays I create illustrations with different styles from flower collages and more playful character designs to highly detailed realism. I work both with traditional and digital media, and also with vectors and graphic design. I also create portraits and art. More examples in Sandcastle.fi.
Realistic art. I create commissioned portraits and art, also commissioned business gifts. Especially the vintage portraits, fantasy portraits as well as the pet portraits have been popular. I have studied fine art and traditional oil painting in Italy and in some of my works you might also see a glimpse of the old master´s painting techniques being combined with a modern twist.
