Tuuli Hypén
Hello! I am Tuuli Hypén, a comic artist and illustrator from Turku, Finland with a Master's degree in Cultural History. As an illustrator, I am self-taught. My special interests include digital games, comics and history.
I have nearly 20 years of professional experience in customer-oriented and on-schedule illustration work. I enjoy trying out new drawing styles to suit the wishes of my clients. I am also fluent in English.
I specialize in comics, character design, game illustrations, nature-themed illustrations, illustrations for school books and illustrations for children. I prefer to work digitally. My tools include Photoshop, Clip Studio and Painter.
My clients include SanomaPro, The Finnish Nature Association (Luontoliitto), Lautapelit, Humak University of Applied Sciences, University of Turku, City of Turku, TYS, National Audiovisual Institute KAVI, The Finnish Red Cross, Naisten Linja, EHYT – Finnish Association for Substance Abuse Prevention, Gamu ry. My comics have been featured in Helsingin Sanomat, Turun Sanomat and a few other Finnish newspapers.
