Elli Maanpää
Greetings from the sunny side of creativity. I'm Elli Maanpää: a visual artist, illustrator, and pattern designer from Helsinki. Colors are my lifeline. As a summer child (proud Leo), illustrating summer-themed subjects inspires me. On the other hand, I also love Christmas. I enjoy imagining characters, especially women and animals. I paint acrylic paintings in my studio in Etu-Töölö, serving as inspiration for my patterns. I'm delighted to license my art to wonderful brands seeking the energy of Elli. I enjoy designing cards and prints. I get excited about graphic patterns with a backstory. My pattern design tutorials have been viewed almost 100,000 times on YouTube. The highlight of my Christmas fandom has been drawing dozens of holiday cards. In addition to private collections, my acrylic paintings have found their way to places like the youth psychiatry ward at SataSairaala.

The textures emerge as a byproduct of my painting process when I wipe off excess paint from the roller onto paper before cleaning it with water. These illustrations are also available for licensing.
