Spring Party 2025

In early June 2025, The Finnish Illustrators Association invited its members to meet each other and traditionally celebrate the hard work of the first half of the year. The dress code was “the sea”, which inspired the creators of creative work to surpass themselves in many ways. The day included a bubbly atmosphere, delicious vegan buffet, drawing session on the windy but sunny beach cliffs and an asahi yoga session guided by Jii Roikonen.

Several awards were given during the day: Illustrators Piia Keto, Pirita Tolvanen, Maria Leskinen, and Ville Salervo & Robert Lönnqvist of Luxus Podcast were awarded for their activity and promotion of the illustration industry. Among the many beautiful nautical outfits, Iriini Kalliomäki’s handmade seagull headgear, Kiira Mukka’s nautical outfit (a baby in a nautical outfit), Javiera McLean Alvarez’ hand-painted paper cape, and Oona Mäkelä’s fish-themed outfit were highlighted. After this, the Illustrator of the Year 2025 was announced. This year, the recognition award was given to Pauliina Holma. We thank all the illustrators and party guests, Poliisien Kesäkoti and Catering Ganache for a lovely day.
