Julia Novitskaya
Hi! I am Julia Novitskaya aka Korpikissa, an illustrator and an artist from Mäntsälä.
I like to bring fantasy and magic, natural lines and tones, humor and fun details into my illustrations. I focus primarily on illustrations for children's books and games, creating cards, stickers and posters. I also enjoy designing surfaces for t-shirts, mugs and other everyday items.
My favorite illustration techniques are a combination of ink pens and watercolors as wella as digital techniques (raster files). I also like to combine photos and drawings in my illustrations.
I sell my own cards, stickers, posters and jewelry. I have illustrated over 30 projects for different people and companies, most of which are children's treasure hunt games, party sets and digital party packages for children's and youth parties.

Children's books, picture books and picture stories, treasure hunts, character design, using natural materials in illustrations. Combining crafts and illustrations (e.g. I built a Kamishibai theater that attaches to a bike). Since 2022 I am organizing an art club for Ukrainian children. As a teacher, I like to show children different techniques and encourage them to create their own unique works.
