Julia Savtchenko

Hello! I'm Julia Savtchenko, an illustrator and a children's book author living and working in Helsinki. I like to approach illustrations with a touch of fairytale and wonder. I like strong contrasts, shadows and many little details. My working languages are Finnish and English. At the moment I work with several children's books so I'm not able to start new big projects, but I’m happy to accept smaller commissions!

I am particularly skilled in illustrating nature and fairy tale themes, as well as different kinds of emotions. I've illustrated several children's books that have been said to transport the viewer into another reality. I work fluently with both digital and traditional media.
