Kiira Mukka
Hi! I’m Kiira Mukka, a 2D-animation expert and illustrator from Helsinki. I love illustrating cute and funny characters and breathing life to them by means of animation. I’m always aiming to show my characters’ emotions and personalities through their gestures and facial expressions. All creatures of the animal kingdom from pandas to beetles hold a special place in my heart, but whilst I’m in my comfort zone drawing characters, I wish to challenge myself with other types of illustrations too. At the moment I’m working as a freelancer and I’d be happy to receive job offerings of any kind!
I am well versed in all aspects of 2D-animation production including directing, character design, storyboarding and animating. I have a lot of experience working in advertisement, but I’ve also done e.g. educational and children’s books illustrations too. I consider myself a great problem solver and visual storyteller.

The Fish song animated advertisement was given the “audience’s choice” award in 2019 Voitto-gala. I had the honour of directing the animation and designing the characters for the catchy song. Later on the campaign got bigger and eventually there were about 20 different fish characters and even a card game.
