Ninni Kairisalo
Hello! I am Ninni Kairisalo, an illustrator and graphic designer from Helsinki. I am inspired by nature and fascinating shapes and materials. My style combines old and new: I mainly draw with ink on paper and color digitally. I'm easily inspired by all kinds of subjects, and I think this comes through in my images. My style lends itself well to subjects such as nature and various structures. I have a good sense of imagination, but at the same time I always consider the client's needs and goals.
I graduated as a graphic designer in 2010, and since then I have been doing illustration and design work as a freelancer, now under the company name Kali Graphics. I am currently studying comics at Aalto University. My working languages are Finnish, Swedish and English.
I am interested in a wide range of projects, including commercial ones such as packaging and product illustration. Please contact me if you have a project that suits me!
My skills include intricate ink drawings, decorative textures, figures, and detailed drawings. My images are often rich, but as a graphic designer I also master the art of simplification. I have illustrated visual identities, journalistic content, event marketing materials, book and album covers, and more.
