Sofia Koistinen
Hi! I’m Sofia Koistinen, an illustrator and biologist from Kimitoön. I have been working as a freelance illustrator since 2018. I’m inspired by the Baltic Sea, maritime traditions and slowness. I live in Dalsbruk, where the archipelago nature and the history of the ironworks village surround its inhabitants. I have my own shop and studio space on the island, Fröken & Rouva, where I sell my own illustrated products, including postcards, posters and other printed products.
My illustrations are often playful and gentle, and I also like to combine my knowledge as a biologist with my illustrations. I love multilingualism and am happy to work in Finnish as well as in Swedish and English.
I create illustrations and visual identities for different companies and communities, both for digital and printed products. Get in touch, and let’s come up with ideas together!
