Tuomas Mäkelä

Hello! I am Tuomas Mäkelä, an experienced illustrator-animator from Pirkanmaa, Finland. I have extensive experience in various types of illustration, including books and advertisements. In recent years I have worked closely with animation and various TV productions. I have illustrated more than 20 children's books for different publishers, including Tammi, Satukustannus, Lasten parhaat kirjat and Kustannus Kolibri.

My training in classical animation is reflected in my illustrations, including skillful character design. Children's books have strengthened my ability to quickly absorb new styles and skills. I'm particularly adept at acquiring knowledge. I respect traditional drawing and am proficient in a variety of software. I work independently and always in a professional manner.
