Hi! I'm Emma Hagman, a pattern designer and illustrator. I create prints for home textiles, wallpapers, stationery, tableware and fashion. My style is bold and modern Scandinavian. All patterns are hand painted or drawn and digitally processed into exact repeats. When working, I value spontaneity and attention to detail. My designs are created with love and I hope that they bring joy into people's everyday lives!

I have a Master's degree in Textile Design from the École Supérieure des Arts Appliqués Duperré (Paris). Since 2010, I have designed patterns and illustrated products for companies, museums, hospitals, universities, etc. all over the world, and participated in various exhibitions and fairs.

I live in a small village on the coast of the Turku region, where I have a home studio. I am surrounded by my garden and a beautiful archipelago, which inspires me a lot. Nature plays a big part in my creative process.

My working languages are Finnish, Swedish, English and French.

I have a long experience in pattern design and I know how to avoid technical problems. I have worked on several projects from start to finish, managing the whole process from design to finished product. For the client, this is an easy and efficient way to work.
