Hi! I’m Vesa-Matti Juutilainen, an illustrator and graphic designer from Finland. I create illustrations and graphics primarily for applications, magazines and marketing use. I’ve also done some poster design, worked as an illustrator in an animation team and designed patterns for textiles.
Characteristics of my work are awkward human and animal figures, distorted proportions and a composition that satisfies the eyes of a grid-oriented graphic designer. My illustration style borrows grainy textures and a harmonious color palette from the past, yet is rooted in the present.
Contact me and let’s see if I’m the illustrator you’re looking for.
My illustration style is rather versatile, and as a graphic designer I have a good knowledge of the design process as a whole.
